Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication
Originating on the Stanford campus, the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication
(SIIC) is in its 25th year of providing professional training and development to thousands
of persons who work in multicultural environments throughout the world. Operated by the
Intercultural Communication Institute in Oregon, SIIC is characterized by its intensity,
relevance to the professional development of participants, balanced emphasis on knowledge
and skills, and its inclusive environment.
How we helped
EDS staff teach classes each summer at this Institute on “Foundations of Intercultural
Communication” and “Training Design for International and Multicultural Programs.”
Client Quote
“The EDS’ principals who teach at our institute are versatile and knowledgeable
and receive enthusiastic reviews every year. That’s not an easy accomplishment
when working with as knowledgeable a group—domestic and international—as
we attract.”
